I upgraded the server hosting the blog to WSS 3.0 RTM yesterday. Some small problems since I had been running TR2, but it worked out OK. Now I am just waiting for the Norwegian language pack to become available so that I can migrate the sites that are in norwegian.
Also have a few new posts ready, that I have written offline in the past two weeks. I could not upload them directly beacuse I have upgraded my firewall to ISA 2006 and it had to be reconfigured.

I finally got the blog back online (did anyone even notice that it was gone?).
I have completed an upgrade of the server that hosts the blog and am now running Windows SharePoint Service 3.0 Beta 2 Technical Refresh, intead of the old cBlog template for WSS 2.0.
I must say WSS 3.0 looks good. Looking forward to testing it some more. The bad news is that there is yet no language template for Norwegian, which is my native language, so all the other sites on the server are not yet available.

I just found out that I am invited to a lunch and later dinner date with Microsoft's security guru Jesper Johansson. Jesper is a principal figure in Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing program and is a frequent and popular speaker at the major Microsoft conferences such as TechEd and IT Forum. I have spoken with Jester at IT Forum before, but always very shortly and with thousands of people present. This time it will be only me and my colleagues from the Norwegian Microsoft TechNet Speaker Community. It will be a great opportunity to pick Jesper's brain about security, a subject I feel strongly about, and anything else the conversation might turn to. I am also invited to a seminar the next day where Jesper will be keynote speaker as well as hold some in-depth sessions. That also sounds very interesting.
